Cadets meet one week end a month, generally starting at 8:30 AM and ending at 4:30 PM on Saturday.  Sunday, from 1:00 PM to 4:30 PM. Each month a Plan of the Month (POM) is published, both by mail and on this web site. This POM lays out the itinerary for the up coming drill, including which uniform required, any special instructions, and questions which are to be answered by the cadets.
Cadets can advance in rank by completing training cources, attending a nine day boot camp, and spending the required time at each level.  With each advancement comes more authority and responsability. After completeing boot camp cadets become eligable for advanced summer traings, which are in specialized fields of interest.
