PLAN OF THE MONTH FOR MAY 2008

DRILL DATES:  16, 17, 18;   25, 26   MAY  2008 

 

Uniform of the Day:   LC-1 through E-6: Utilities

                                  E-7 through O-4: Khakis

 

  

    

 

Future Drill  Dates:  7 June     20,21 Sept.                

 

                                     

 

1)  DRILL:  SATURDAY  16 MAY  2008     

     FLAGSHIP COMPETITION: 

        FRIDAY  16 MAY  THROUGH  SUNDAY 18 MAY

 

       Itinerary, seabag list, notes and climbing wall waivers were all  

       emailed/mailed to cadets and officers.

      

     Saturday: 

       1400:   Arrive at rendezvous spot at designated time for travel to Great

                   Lakes with properly packed seabag. 

     1530:  Arrive at Subway in Chenoa.   

       1630:  Leave for Great Lakes NTC.

 

    Sunday:

      1200:   Leave Great Lakes NTC for return home. 

 

2)   COLOR GUARD:  SUNDAY 25 MAY

        Details to follow.

 

3)   COLOR GUARD:  MONDAY 26 MAY

        Details to follow.  Includes color guard at the ballgame.

 

                

4)     Renewals due - 

            Make checks out to “NSCC” or “Pimiteoui Division”

            Enrollment must be current to be covered under the NSCC 

            insurance at drills.

            Copies of ID cards are required to be sent in with training orders and

            enrollments must be current through the end of any training applied for. 

 

5)   The Plan of the Month contains information both official and unofficial in  

       nature. All hands are responsible for reading everything.

         

All drills / events are mandatory and ALL HANDS are required to attend.

Contact your squad leader or LPO 24 hours in advance of any scheduled drill or event in which you will be unable to attend. Failure to comply with this directive will result in disciplinary action up to and including dismissal from the program.  Remember, 75% or higher attendance rate is required for promotions, Advanced trainings, and to remain with the program

 

6)   All sea cadets are required to turn in at least 1 answer sheet at  drill!

      Remember, You must pass your courses to advance in rank.

 

7)  FUTURE EVENTS: 

20-21 Sep 2008 – Overnight Search and Rescue drill

            1)  What is one thing you want to learn in the rest of the year?

            2)  Suggestion for a future drill. (No, we cannot do paintball.)
